Dizziness or Balance Evaluations
The term “dizziness” can encompass a variety of sensations and can mean different things to different people. People often describe the sensation as “spinning, unsteadiness, lightheadedness, disorientation, wooziness, or not being sure-footed.” Nearly 85% of dizziness complaints can be caused by disturbances of the inner ear.
Scheduling an evaluation
If you are bothered by dizziness discuss your symptoms with your doctor. Evaluations for dizziness or balance problems performed at our clinic can help doctors define the causes of the symptoms of dizziness. Your doctor can provide a referral to our clinic for a consultation and evaluation. Prior to coming in for a consultation you will need to fill out a dizziness questionaire which can be downloaded from our website.
